Find one or two people to assist with the program. It is helpful to have one person with a background in Human Resources, staffing or career coaching. One person will assume responsibility for promotion of the group within the sponsor and community.
Develop handouts and announcements to promote the job support group. Use the workministry.com site for resources, which includes a web page for your group.
Review the Leader Guide and determine the content of meetings, which could include a speaker, or a topic for discussion and networking.
WorkMinistry.com offers an email application that enables the group to communicate with each other, share information and get help. We also set up a webpage for the group to promote the program.
Plan on two to four hours per month for each meeting scheduled.
We have the resources and experience to assist and welcome a call or e-mail to discuss the process for developing a job support program. Contact Bill Broderick, bbroderick@workministry.com.
Let’s work together to make your job support initiative a success!
