Work Ministry, and our site, Workministry.com, wants to bring job seekers, job support groups, faith-based/community organizations and employers to one place on the Internet for job search and staffing success!
Over the past two years, Work Ministry has been working toward a key goal of becoming a resource of staffing for employers. In coming months, we hope to be increasingly successful in bringing employers directly to job support groups, creating opportunities for job seekers and employers. Thanks for your continued support.
Jobkabob.com: sell your skills, not your work history. Jobkabob.com was launched a few months ago and is attracting attention of employers. Employers hire people for what they can do, and focus on skill sets of core competencies that are directly relevant to their searches for talent. Jobkabob.com is all about skills and showing what you bring to the job market. Set up an account, prepare your record of skills and accomplishments and give it a try!

How can you tell the best networker in a group? Easy. The person in the group who makes the most effort to provide information and help to others. He or she gets a lot of help, support and leads from others in the group, people trying to find ways to reciprocate. So…who is the best networker in your group and do you point that out to your participants?
KPMG is one of the big four consulting firms and currently has about 200 positions posted in ten states. McGraw Hill is a major publisher and has five positions posted for opportunities in the Chicago area. Please ask members of your group to check out the opportunities, and thanks for your support of our employer clients.
Career Concepts USA conducts up to 300 Job Fairs a year across the country. For the schedule of events in your area, please visit the Job Fair Calendar on their site. Hope this relationship helps!

Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Glenview IL is an example of a job support group that also blends in a business networking group. The group meets once a month for both job search and business networking. Ed Hauser, the Leader of the group, is a self-employed Career Coach and consultant on success. The webpage provided by Work Ministry supports both programs. The parish has been extremely supportive of the group, especially with regard to internal communication within the parish community. Keep up the good work!
Leaders please review your Job Support Group web page and see if all info is accurate and up-to-date. Please send any corrections to webmaster@workministry.com.
Remember networkers: once you have landed your job, complete our landings survey.

The will of God for your life is simply that you submit yourself to Him each day and say, "Father, Your will for today is mine. Your pleasure for today is mine. Your work for today is mine. I trust You to be God. You lead me today and I will follow."
