LEADING EMPLOYERS’ WEB SITE CHOOSES WORK MINISTRY FOR WEB PARTNER

Dynamic New Web Partnership Helps People Find Jobs

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Chicago, IL – Bill Warren, executive director of Direct Employers Association and its Web site, JobCentral.com, and Bill Broderick, partner in Work Ministry and its web site, workministry.com, announced today that they are linking their sites and content to expand resources offered to job seekers and connect networking and support groups with employers. The alliance may result in the most interactive career management job board in the employment space of the Internet.

Direct Employers was formed in 2001, by more than 100 leading U. S. companies. Bill Warren is also the founder of online recruiting.

He said: "We intend to provide job seekers with exceptional resources that really add value to their efforts. Networking is one of the most important resources for people in job search and job support groups are essential to networking efforts. We selected Work Ministry to provide our site visitors with access to job support groups. We are pleased to participate by making this resource available to people using our site."

Direct Employers and Work Ministry Partner For Growth

Work Ministry, less than a year old, is dedicated to developing job support groups sponsored by faith based and community organizations and connecting groups with employers. Job support groups facilitate networking and enable candidates to gain introductions to and access to target companies and opportunities.

Work Ministry is powered by CareerCast, which supports more than 150 job boards, including Careerjournal.com and The New York Times.

Bill Broderick, partner in Work Ministry, said: "Work Ministry connects real people at local, regional and national levels with employers. With more than 60 groups in 10 states, Work Ministry will be national in scope by year-end. Each group is open to anyone in its community. The groups and their member job seekers operate with shared values of helping each other in career and job search. Every group is committed to supporting employers by presenting candidates or finding prospects to refer for career opportunities.

"This working partnership will help both our organizations grow and better serve both employers and job seekers," Mr. Broderick concluded. For more information, please contact Bill Broderick at bbroderick@workministry.com.
