CAREERJOURNAL.COM AND WORK MINISTRY JOIN FORCES, INCREASE RESOURCES

PRINCETON, NJ (April 7, 2005) – CareerJournal.com, The Wall Street Journal’s executive career guide, and Work Ministry (www.workministry.com), a faith-based career management service, today announced a new cooperative initiative that will provide increased resources to job seekers and employers.

CareerJournal.com and Work Ministry will link to each other, enhancing access to career services from both organizations. Work Ministry will help promote CareerJournal.com’s executive diversity job fairs, and employers from the Work Ministry web site will have the opportunity to post their job openings on CareerJournal.com.

Work Ministry provides assistance to faith-based community organizations in developing and sustaining job-support groups, including the training and mentoring of group leaders.

CareerJournal.com attracts over 600,000 unique visitors monthly, and features more than 2,500 articles on all aspects of job hunting and career management, as well as searchable access to more than 50,000 top-level executive positions nationwide. CareerJournal.com also features salary data, negotiating tips, popular columns from The Wall Street Journal, and exclusive content from its own dedicated news staff.

"One of the key resources for job seekers are support groups," said Bill Broderick, senior vice president of Work Ministry . "Work Ministry is all about helping job-support groups become more effective and successful at meeting the needs of their members. CareerJournal.com is connected to hundreds of support groups across the nation. Work Ministry will be able to help those support groups as well, and connect those groups in a national network for access by employers."

"We are pleased to form an alliance with Work Ministry and support their efforts to combine career management with volunteer support groups," says Tony Lee, publisher, CareerJournal.com. "Work Ministry imparts valuable information, great tools and, perhaps most important of all, hope for those who turn to job-support groups for guidance after a job loss."
