Purchasing Opportunity: R & D, new product development (temp to perm)

Our client is a major manufacturing company in the O’Hare airport area of Chicago. We are looking for a Purchasing professional with five to ten years+ experience in sourcing and procurement of parts and components for engineered prototypes and, at later stages, production of a commercial product. Experience with components such as water pumps, small motors and related electronics is desired. BS degree, professional certifications preferred. Experience working with production and engineering team members desired. The assignment will run for three to six months, with the potential for conversion to full time. Rate is negotiable, but in the range of $40.00+ per hour.

Brian Tracy seminar needs volunteers 9-12

There is an opportunity for 10 or 11 people to work the September 12th Brian Tracy seminars at the Stephens (Rosemont) Convention Center.

They would get in for free ($500 value) and they would do things like take tickets, will call, product sales, pass out workbooks, etc... but they do get to see the event. Most of their work would be done before the workshop and during the breaks.

They would have to be at the Convention Center at 6:30 am.

Instructional Designer opportunity

An associate firm of ours is seeking an instructional designer with Software Development experience. The client has highly technical products, some that are used in scientific bio-pharma companies by scientists to track data for the FDA. Their product needs to be programmed and customized by the customer company's internal software developers. The courses that need to be created are for training software developers. The client wants an ID who understands computer programming languages in order to reduce the learning curve. This assignment will be full-time, working remotely, possibly 2- 6 months starting within the next 30 - 45 days.
